Purpose-Made Glass Retention Material: This butyl-based setting tape is used to hold window glass securely within metal frames and lower lifting tracks. It helps prevent the glass from slipping, loosening or moving within the channel over time.

Kerosene-Activated Bonding Process: During installation, the tape is wrapped around the edge of the glass. Wiping the frame-facing surface with kerosene activates the compound, allowing it to tack and bond when the glass is firmly pressed into its metal frame or channel.

Suitable For Window Frames And Regulator Channels: Ideal for replacing aged, hardened or damaged original setting material when refitting side-window glass, quarter glass or other framed automotive glass applications where the correct tape width is selected.
